Coach and group transfers for events in Venice: the mainland leg

BusEventi plans coaches and group transfers with driver for conferences and incentives involving Venice. The point to clarify at the start is that the coach service covers the mainland leg: the historic centre cannot be reached by bus.

That is why a transfer to Venice always has two parts, the road leg and the final stretch, on foot or by water. Planning is about making the two fit together so that luggage and timings do not get lost in the handover.

Reference places

Information taken from the venues' official websites, consulted on 12 October 2026. Access and rules for the event date must always be checked.

  • Aeroporto di Venezia Marco Polo

Airport at Viale Galileo Galilei 30. The official site mentions land and water connections.

What changes here

  • The mainland leg

The coach goes to an authorised drop-off point or terminal. From there the group continues by another means or on foot.

  • Luggage and connections

The handover from coach to the last stretch is the critical moment for luggage. We plan who carries it and on what timing.

  • Permits and procedures

Drop-off points and coach procedures depend on the date and destination. They are checked beforehand, not assumed.

Planning scenario

Example

Planning example: group arrival and a final stretch by water

A group lands at the airport, boards a coach to an authorised point and continues to the hotel by a different means. BusEventi plans the road leg. Water transport is included only if confirmed as an offered service in the proposal. This is an illustrative example, not a managed case.

Illustrative planning scenario, not a managed case.

Access notes

  • Marco Polo airport is at Viale Galileo Galilei 30. The official site mentions land and water connections without detail on private coach transfers.
  • Venice's historic centre has no roads open to vehicles: a coach cannot realistically serve the hotel door.
  • Water transport is not part of the service unless explicitly confirmed in the proposal.

How we use vehicles

In Venice a coach or minibus is used on the mainland leg, from the airport or another arrival point to the authorised drop-off. Capacity and luggage space are confirmed in the proposal.

Frequently asked questions

Can a coach reach the historic centre of Venice?

No. The historic centre has no roads a bus can use. The coach covers the route to an authorised drop-off point or terminal and the last stretch is on foot or by water.

Do you offer water transport?

Only if we confirm it in the proposal. BusEventi's standard service covers the coach leg. If you need the water leg, mention it in the brief so it can be checked.

How is the group's luggage handled?

The handover from coach to the last stretch is the point to plan. Tell us how many bags and of what type in the brief, so we can assess the vehicle and the handling at the change of means.

Can you coordinate connections with flights or trains?

Yes. We need flights or trains and passenger numbers for each arrival, so the transfer can follow real times. Delays and changes are handled as set out in the proposal.
